I stopped in here for lunch while visiting from out of town and boy am I glad I did. I ordered the original sandwich combo.  Delish! Hands down it was far better than subway or wich wich and my food was delivered with southern hospitality.

I got some Cinnabons to take home too. Bonus! I just wish we had one of these in California!

Great food but very rude, rude, rude staff. Could not change a $100 bill on Saturday for me and told me they were not a bank an d refused service.  I have filed complaint with corporate for such unprofessional staff. I have eaten at Schlotzkys for decades and never ran into such. If you are open for business then you need to be able to make change especially on a Saturday after a lot of people get paid on Fridays.

Definitely won't be coming back here. To start they were out of coke, which is weird but no big deal. The problem was we sat in the drive thru for literally 30 minutes when there were only 2 cars in line ahead of us. We would have left after 20, but we were blocked in. I guess something went wrong with the order in front of us and they didn't have them pull up, they just figured everybody else could wait too. When we got to the window the employee acted as if nothing at all had happened and didn't even mention the wait. 30 minutes at a sandwich place is absolutely insane. Management needs to get a grip on this, but I won't be around to see it happen.

So today, I went through the drive thru.  Order a deluxe original.  Lady said they were out of ham.  Ok.  Fine.  Just double the other meat then.  I need a kids cheese pizza.   We are out of that.  Ok.  I need a veggie sandwich.  Ok.  No issues.  I pulled forward and paid my bill.  When I got home.  No lettuce or onions on my deluxe original.  This is not the first time we have had issues with our orders here.  But this is the first time I have commented.  I figured maybe if I leave a review, management will do something before they go out of business.

    Pathetic.
I wanted a sandwich and salad for lunch and after checking available options selected Schlotzsky's.
The guy behind the register was friendly, if not entirely competent. While I was ordering, another customer brought his bag to the counter and said, "this isn't a turkey sandwich."  Red flag number one.
So I ordered a Pick Two with a turkey guacamole sandwich and a southwest salad. There was no actual description of the salad on the menu, but I had an idea of what to expect. No drink. Over $9.
My food came out fairly quickly. As for the sandwich, the only thing I remember was 1/2 lb of shredded lettuce falling out the back. Not great but not terrible.
Then I started on the salad. A Southwest salad apparently consists of a handful of wilted spring mix, complete with slimy bits stick to the bottom of the leaves, cold flavorless "grilled" chicken cubes, and the saddest, greenest, mushiest, most tasteless tomato slices I've ever had... topped by some stale tortilla chip strips.
Any of the following could have made that believably Southwest: black beans, corn, peppers of any sort, salsa, chipotle, cilantro lime marinade, actual cilantro or lime... I'm sure I could go on.
Come on Schlotzsky's. I thought you were born in Austin. Minnesota would be embarrassed to call that a southwest salad.
Oh, and the breadstick. It was cold and seemed to have been boiled for several minutes in margarine.
For the price, I could have gone to "Popular Bakery-Cafe" and gotten a better sandwich, better salad, choice of a couple kinds of bread or an apple, plus real silverware to eat it with.
    Never again.
